Children are not a burden to escape or endure; they are a blessing that drives us to Christ because we are incapable of parenting well without Him. - Kim Brenneman

As you know I've been attempting to potty train Daniel. He seems to understand the concept of not going to the bathroom in his diaper. He takes his clothes off before he goes potty.. he just hasn't done it to go on the toilet yet. Instead of putting his poo and pee in the toilet where it rightfully belongs he likes to put OTHER things in the toilet. Including but not limited to books, toys and toothbrushes. Though his favorite seems to be books. And Yes... i said toothbrushes. Especially mine! (no i have NOT used it after it has been in the toilet, I've bought a new one!) We've lost many good books this way and I'm sad to say, Maria, that today we lost Goodnight Moon to the nasty yucky toilet water. Underneath "Barnyard Dance" "Goodnight Moon" met it's doom atop a most beloved toy phone. And now they all rest in peace in the garbage along side my toothbrush.

Eh....I think he's trying to get the concept of things going in the toilet. And he'll get the woo and wee going in there instead of other things.

Man, we loooooove Barnyard Dance! Sad to see it go....

Stay the course. Keep up the good work. It will pay off!
